Voltage level and size: under its published rules, Thurplus remunerates systems in the low-voltage grid; medium-voltage systems require individual agreements. Thurplus also names 3.0 MWp or 5,000 MWh as the limit of the described feed-in route.

Self-consumption before feed-in: Thurplus itself points out that high self-consumption, storage or dynamic load management changes how solar power is allocated. The load profile, heat pump, wallbox and battery must therefore be modelled before comparing the result with the SFOE price.

Keep revenue streams separate: feed-in remuneration is settled per exported kilowatt-hour, while the Pronovo EIV is a separate federal instrument supporting the investment. Thurplus also mentions payment for guarantees of origin as an additional remuneration; these three items must not be merged into one flat solar-yield figure in the quote.
