We process personal data in good faith, proportionately and only for the purposes set out below. We never sell personal data and disclose it only where necessary to provide our services or required by law.

• Contact details (name, email, phone) when you request a quote or call-back.
• Project details (e.g. building type, roof shape, consumption, location) to create an estimate.
• Technical usage data (e.g. IP address, URL, referrer, browser, timestamp) when accessing the site and submitting a request.
• Local storage in your browser (e.g. cookie choice, configurator progress) to improve usability.
• Your inputs in the AI chat, if you use it.

We process this data to answer enquiries, prepare quotes and estimates, initiate and perform contracts, operate the website securely and — with your consent — analyse usage statistically. The bases are the initiation and performance of a contract, your consent, and our legitimate interest in a secure, user-friendly service.

Technically necessary cookies and local storage are required for operation and security and are always active. Statistics and marketing cookies are only set after your explicit consent in the cookie banner. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

Only with your consent do we use PostHog for anonymised reach and usage analytics to continuously improve the website. Without consent, no such analysis takes place.

For the AI chat we use Google’s Gemini API. Your inputs are transmitted to Google for processing; this may involve disclosure to the USA. We base this transfer on appropriate safeguards (including standard contractual clauses). Please do not enter sensitive personal data in the chat.

Our website is hosted by a service provider that processes personal data on our behalf. When the site is accessed, server log files (e.g. IP address, timestamp, requested resource) are automatically processed to ensure operation, security and stability.

We disclose personal data only to carefully selected processors (e.g. hosting, email delivery, AI and analytics services) that are contractually bound to data protection. Where data is disclosed to countries without an equivalent level of protection, we secure it with appropriate safeguards.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes or statutory periods, and delete it thereafter. To protect your data we take appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted transmission via TLS.

Under the revDSG you have the right to information, rectification, deletion and restriction of processing, to data release or portability, and to withdraw any consent given. You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Bern.
