Short answer
How high is the PV feed-in payment in Uri in 2026?
In the energieUri grid area, surplus PV electricity in 2026 is remunerated quarterly by the BFE reference market price. Systems below 30 kW receive at least 6.00 Rp./kWh excluding VAT; between above 30 and 150 kW, the floor depends on self-consumption. HKNs, Pronovo EIV and purchased electricity are separate items.
Important
The values in this guide apply to the energieUri grid area and the linked 2026 product sheets, not automatically to every address in Canton Uri. The 6.00 Rp./kWh floor applies to PV below 30 kW in product R.30; larger systems are handled by the R.150 or R.150+ class, self-consumption and capacity share. Before signing, verify the BFE reference prices, HKN terms, metering concept and VAT treatment against current energieUri documents.

| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Return-payment basis | BFE reference market price, quarterly; prices exclude VAT |
| R.30 PV | PV below 30 kW; statutory floor 6.00 Rp./kWh |
| R.150 PV mEV | Above 30 to 150 kW with self-consumption; capacity share above 30 kW has a 0.00 Rp./kWh floor |
| R.150 PV oEV | Above 30 to 150 kW without self-consumption; floor 6.20 Rp./kWh |

Decision points
What determines the right path.
The grid area comes first: energieUri return products apply to energy fed into the energieUri network. An address in Canton Uri alone is therefore not proof of the tariff if the local grid operator differs; the grid area and contracting party must match on the quote.
The capacity class is determined under Art. 13 EnV: the product sheet uses the normalised DC peak capacity on the front side of the PV modules. R.30 covers below 30 kW, R.150 above 30 to 150 kW and R.150+ above 150 kW to 3 MW; AC inverter capacity and DC system capacity must not be confused.
Self-consumption changes the floor in the R.150 range: for R.150 PV mEV, the share below 30 kW has a 6.00 Rp./kWh floor, while the share above 30 kW has a 0.00 Rp./kWh floor in the product sheet. R.150 PV oEV without self-consumption instead shows a 6.20 Rp./kWh floor for above 30 to 150 kW.
The variable payment is not a fixed annual tariff: energieUri settles quarterly using the BFE reference market price for the relevant technology. The SFOE publishes the value by 12:00 on the tenth working day after the quarter ends; all product prices exclude VAT.
HKNs are a separate marketing step: from 2026, energieUri lists 1.00 Rp./kWh for PV HKNs in the winter half-year from 1 October to 31 March and 0.50 Rp./kWh in the summer half-year from 1 April to 30 September. Acceptance is not guaranteed; assignment requires a standing order in Pronovo’s HKN system.
The economic model must keep exported electricity and self-consumption separate. The energieUri product sheet names EnG Art. 15, EnV Arts. 12 and 13, and EnFV Art. 15 as its legal bases; the current product version, metering concept and specific quote remain decisive.
Sequence
How the project stays cleanly managed.
- 1
Confirm the grid areacheck the connection or electricity bill to establish that the system feeds into the energieUri network and that energieUri is the contracting grid operator. Record the municipality, metering point and grid operator for the connection request.
- 2
Determine system capacity correctlyhave the normalised DC peak capacity under Art. 13 EnV documented and classify the project as R.30, R.150 PV mEV, R.150 PV oEV or R.150+ PV. The class must be named consistently in the technical sheet and quote.
- 3
Define self-consumption and meteringdocument whether the site self-consumes electricity, how the meter records quarter-hour values and whether storage, a heat pump or an EV charger changes the load profile. Between 30 and 150 kW, this classification determines the payment floor.
- 4
Confirm exported electricity and HKNs separatelyrequest the current 2026 return-product and HKN versions from energieUri. For HKNs, check the seasonal 1.00 and 0.50 Rp./kWh rates, the lack of an acceptance guarantee and the Pronovo standing order as a separate process.
- 5
Plan for the reference market price correctlyuse the BFE reference market price for each settlement period and note its publication by 12:00 on the tenth working day after the quarter ends. Model the price excluding VAT and add the class-specific statutory floor logic.
- 6
Check the quote and settlementcompare the value of self-consumption, export revenue, HKNs, purchased electricity, metering costs and any grid reinforcement separately. Before installation, the grid connection, metering concept and named energieUri product class must align in writing.
Checklist
Questions to settle before the quote.
- Classify R.30, R.150 PV mEV, R.150 PV oEV and R.150+ PV by system capacity
- Understand the 6.00 Rp./kWh floor below 30 kW, the 6.20 Rp./kWh floor without self-consumption up to 150 kW and the zero floor for larger shares
- Read the quarterly BFE reference market price, VAT treatment and settlement in the energieUri grid area
- Model HKNs, Pronovo EIV, self-consumption and exported electricity as separate revenue and cost items
