In the EnBAG grid area, PV feed-in payment in Valais in 2026 is 14.00 ct./kWh from April to September and 6.5 ct./kWh from October to March for systems below 80 kVA, excluding VAT. Owners who transfer guarantees of origin to EnBAG through a Pronovo standing order and also supply the physical energy to EnBAG receive an additional 1.5 ct./kWh. What determines the right path.

The grid operator determines the actual rate. EnBAG accepts surplus energy only from systems in its own grid area; a Valais address outside that area needs the terms of its responsible distribution system operator.

Capacity and season determine the EnBAG standard rate. The 2026 price sheet applies to systems below 80 kVA and states 14.00 ct./kWh for April to September and 6.5 ct./kWh for October to March, excluding 8.1% VAT. EnBAG handles systems from 80 kVA individually.

The federal value is not a second EnBAG rate. Without a remuneration agreement, the quarterly BFE reference market price has served as the fallback since 2026. For photovoltaics it was 10.266 ct./kWh in Q1 and 3.896 ct./kWh in Q2; capacity- and self-consumption-dependent minimum rules also apply up to 150 kW.

Guarantees of origin must be separated from physical energy. EnBAG states an additional 1.5 ct./kWh if the energy is supplied to EnBAG, the system is certified and HKN transfer is set up through a standing order in the Pronovo system.

TOP-40 is a voluntary model with a technical commitment. Maximum export power is limited to 60% of installed DC capacity; in return, EnBAG increases the applicable rate for all exported energy by 8%. Profitability depends on orientation, self-consumption and the load profile.

Only electricity actually exported counts toward feed-in revenue. A robust calculation separates annual production, self-consumption, storage flows, summer and winter exports and HKN revenue, and also tests a quarter with a low market price.

How the project stays cleanly managed.
